Pearls of Great Price: 366 Daily Devotional Readings

This is a daily devotional book that has really been a blessing to me. I love all of Joni’s books and appreciate her testimony and ministry.

My name is Terry R. Tuley. I wrote the book "Battlefields and Blessings; Stories of Faith and Courage from the Civil War." My book was nominated for the Golden Medallion Award along with Joni's book "Pearls of Great Price." I was at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia when her book won this prestigious award. I was blessed to even be counted as one of the finalists along with Joni in the devotional category. Joni's faith has been an inspiration to multitudes and the Lord has used her in a very special way. I have been reading this devotional every day for nearly a year now. It has helped me very much. Joni is honest about her disability and the way God has worked in her life since her accident. There are stories about other people and events as well. I highly recommend it.

This book puts the christian life in perspective. It is open and honest and shows that God's ways are not always our ways. Joni, has opened her heart to show how God brings good from trials and tribulations. It is an awesome devotional tool. I highly recommend it to anyone, but especially to those who have or are going through tough times.

I am thirteen days into this devotional. It is excellent and I am truly inspired to stay with it and can feel an improvement in my relationship with our Father each time that I read and pray the day's devotional. I have started many devotional books over the years, but this is the only one that I will likely read all year and maybe again next year. It is truly inspired!
