In this book, veteran author Sally Sampson presents 50 recipes for all sorts of flavored nuts that will please every palate, along with easy, fun tips for serving them. This description may be from another edition of this product.
With its martini glass full of candied peppered walnuts on the cover, this lovely little book is so visually appealing and fun to flip through that it would be worth owning even if you had no intention of trying its recipes. Fortunately, the author invites experimentation in a voice as casual as that of a friend sitting on your kitchen counter. Pistachios, peanuts, pine nuts and walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts and pecans - my personal fave - are each lavished with many adornments from spicy to sweet to savory. Whether you're entertaining or serving up homemade gifts this holiday season, this book makes a happy addition to any kitchen library.
A Winner!

I am a huge fan of Sally Sampson's cookbooks: they are all well written, accessible and innovative. Party Nuts! is no exception!! In fact, I am going to give a copy of Party Nuts! and a bag of Lauren's Walnuts (recipe in book) to just about every one of my clients and friends.
An essential addition to my cookbook collection!

Sally Sampson has packed more good ideas into a small volume than just about any other cookbook author I've read in years. Party Nuts is beautifully produced, but more importantly, it's well written and sharply edited. Stripped of the self indulgent fluff of so many cookbooks, Party Nuts provides such a welath of wonderful, simple, sweet and savory recipes that it's nearly impossible to decide where to begin. The photography is elegant and appropriate, and the book has that nice snack-size feel that makes me reach for it every time we have company. This is a superb book and I highly recommend it to anybody who likes to entertain!

... because you'll be back again and again and again to buy more nuts. I've tried five or six recipes so far and they are all great... imaginative and easy. But I'd suggest doubling them, because they don't last. I made what I thought was an entire weekend's supply of chipotle almonds and vanilla walnuts for a camping trip, and they were gone by the end of the first night. The author suggests giving some party nuts as gifts, which is a great idea. I think a copy of the book and a box of pecans au poivre will be my holiday standard this year.
I am nuts for these nuts!!

I entertain a lot and was thrilled to find this book. I have bought all of Sally Sampson's books; they are great and every time I cook from these books, I get raves from my guests. Now with this book, I can wow my guests from the second they walk in the door! The black & white sesame almonds are so good I've made them twice. These nut recipes will also be great for holiday gifts!! Can't wait!
