Steamy trio!

This is an exciting, sexy trio of stories with hot, dominant men and lots of steam. You won't be disappointed. That said, the first story by Jennifer Dunne was my least favorite. It started off well but got bogged down in business talk. The heroine was an efficiency expert, some background was nice but just too many pages were given over to discussion of business strategy. The sex scenes didn't quite do it for me either: hot wax and being wrapped in plastic like a leftover sandwich - so not my thing. 3 stars The next story by Madeline Oh was livelier. Lots of sexual tension and build-up, until both the heroine and I wanted to strangle the hero and tell him to get on with it already. But when Jud finally shows up in a pirate costume and "captures" his helpless "maiden", yowza! Let's just say that Black Jack and Lady Katherine have a rip-roaring good time. Their antics left a huge grin on my face. Nice spanking too! 5 stars The final story by Dominique Adair may be my favorite. I loved the Cajun setting and the Cajun hero. David saw what he wanted and went after it, er ... her. Nice spanking scene here too! This story is quite a bit shorter than the others and I wished it had been longer. 5 stars

A good, quick read

Dancing in the Dark by Jennifer Dunne is the story of Keri Montero, a boring, predictable woman who breaks free of her shell, with the help of a costumed Halloween party, and a sexy masked Sun God. Can her mystery man help her to free her inner submissive?? Trick or Treat by Madeline Oh is the lively, funny story of Katie Fairfax, her trip to the Rose and Leather Boutique, and her voyage into the titillating, yet kind of scary world of bondage and D/s. Yet with Jud Carlton to teach her, and cousin Andrew to urge her on, it's a great ride! Louisiana Heat by Dominique Adair is the story of Kay Glenn, the manager of an elite art gallary in Atlanta, a first time face-to-face meeting between online "friends", a case of intentional "mistaken" identity, and hunky alpha artist David Hunter. Will this relationship withstand the lies that lay between them? Party Favors, as a whole, is an enjoyable read. The sex is hot, and makes you wish you had some of these sexy alpha men in your life!
