Great book to help stop nose picking!

I bought this book for my then 3 year old to help him learn NOT to pick his nose. It is a clever story about a young boy who gets his finger stuck in his nose. Now whenever I catch my son picking I just call him "Parker" and he knows what he's doing and stops. It is especially helpful out in public when I don't want to make a scene but also don't want him picking. Yuck!

For every "picker" in your family!

Parker will gross you out! But the illustrations and the story get their point across! Funny and wonderful.

Hysterical book for kids of all ages!

This unique and creative children's book with amazing illustrations should be on everyone's holiday wish list! Kids should enjoy the gross-out factor and parents will like the lesson learned about the consequences of picking one's nose. The book is easy and fun to read and all the adults I've shown it to have loved it - especially the ending.

Every child needs this one

Parker Picks humorously deals with a subject that has always been taboo. Every child does it but no one wants to talk about it. Even children who are too young to read it will learn from it. Rather than imply that picking one's nose is okay, the book allows children to see that there may be "dire" consequences for doing it, and the reactions from everyone else teach the unacceptability of the action. This book should be in every child's home and in every elementary school's library. The illustrations are well worth the price of the book.
