River Heights Elementary School is putting on an Earth Day parade, and Nancy's class has a special honor: They get to build the float Nancy, Bess, George, and all the kids in Mrs. Ramirez's class have worked hard to make the greenest float they can, collecting recycled materials to use for decoration. My 9 year old daughter loves to have mystery books read to her at bedtime. Although this book is easy enough for her to read alone, she likes the sharing of the story with me and trying to solve it before Nancy can. This one involves recycling and green awareness which she also enjoyed discussing. It is a nice book for the 7-10 or so year olds.
