While there are hundreds of books for the various versions of PhotoShop,it seems like there are very few books available for Paint Shop Pro. So just finding Paint Shop "Pro for Photographers" was a treat, but to have be such a thorough and easy to use reference was a stroke of luck. I've really enjoyed reading it, and it's provided me with a lot of useful tips and guidance.
Great Supplementary Guidebook for PSP XI

These folks have been producing excellent supplementary guides for several versions of PaintShop Pro. I've been using the application for YEARS, and it still provided very good additional tips and tricks, techniques, explanation of new features or things that I hadn't used yet, etc., etc. I've given to a number of friends that are just getting their feet wet in Digital Editing when they want to more than "the BASICS" with the applications that came with their camera, but they weren't ready to go to Photoshop by a long shot. All of them have appreciated the "jump-start" that this gave them
Very helpful companion to Paint Shop Pro

This book has been a great help in explaining some of the things that can be done with the software. I never found anything from Corel to be this useful. I use this book to look up certain things as I need to, but I hope to some day find the time to go through it more carefully to enhance my understanding. Because I don't have a lot of time to spend just playing around with Paint Shop Pro, this book has been great in guiding me through an application. I'd recommend this to anyone who is interested in Paint Shop Pro.
Paint Shop Pro Photo XI

If you're a beginner to intermediate user of Paint Shop Pro Photo for Digital Photo correction and manipulation then this is the book for you. The book is in color with pictures and screen shots. It's easy to follow along using Paint Shop Pro and the very same pictures in the book can be downloaded for the follow through. Ken McMahon writes clearly and precisely without being a bore. The book covers everything from the one click fixes, workspace, selections, channels, sharpening, color correction, resizing and more. I'm an intermediate user and I learned from every chapter I read. The only thing I'd like to have seen in the book was a mention of the older tools hidden under VIEW >CUSTOMIZE>>TOOLS. There are some very useful and easy to use tools there that IMO should be placed on the Photo Palette.

Now if Ken would write an advanced book of photo manipulation using PSP so I don't have to convert Photoshop tutorials I'd be one happy camper.

Buy this book you won't be disappointed.
