Great book with examples of what early life was for gay men

This book has samplings of books written for a couple hundred years ago up until the 20th century. All the excerpts deal with gay relationship. It is fascinating to see how an author 150 was able to write about gay men without being too obvious. I sincerely enjoyed this book and found a lot of the older writings to be very romantic.
