I obtained a copy of this from my local library in the free pile. Mr. Summers writes of his being "owned" by a female golden eagle in England in the mid 1960's.I love animal stories and this didn't disappoint me.Illustrated and entertainingly written, he makes references to the two other books(a trilogy, if you will). The logistics of simply trying to move an eagle on public transportation without upsetting the bird or alarming and upsetting fellow passengers makes it worth checking out.P.S. He met his wife because of the eagle,so the hero gets the girl!
