A Classic Tale For Kids Of All Ages!

Combine a wry sense of humor, marvelous illustrations and two endearing characters, and what you'll get is a classic -- Priscilla Lamont's "Out to Lunch".Lamont's draftsmanship is superb, and her airy yet highly expressive watercolors are just the ticket for this tale of Mrs Burdle and her friend, the irascible and ever-punctual Scottie, Mr. Howgego.What's so amusing about this tale is the role reversal the characters undergo during a day they have agreed to meet for lunch. No doubt children will love this book, but adults will also relate to its gentle irony. The layout of the book deserves special mention, as do Lamont's wonderful illustrations. This is one not to be missed!
