i loved this book. it is one of my favourites. of course i love all of Grace Livingston Hill books like tender, oldfashioned friends. this book was terribly romantic and adventurous. it had a beautiful plot, about a girl who gets shipwrecked along with a man who is badly hurt. she saves his life, nurses him and leads him to the Lord. in the meanwhile.... things happen. i sooo love reading a book where the guy chases the girl...

A young man is saved by a woman after his ship sinks. She nurses him back to health, then feels she must leave for the city to earn her living. Without giving away the whole story, as the woman becomes homeless a surprise is in store for her. Those of you familiar with Grace Livingston Hill's books know the quality of her writing. This particular story is uplifting, and hopeful.
