Out of the Depths Have I Cried: Thoughts on Incarnational Theology in the Eastern Christian Experience

I bought this book at my church inspired partially due to His Eminence's current health crisis (may God grant him many years), and was absolutely moved by everything in it. Each sentence is more touching than the next, rooted deeply in faith and love and the experience of the living Christ. I found myself, despite my lack of time, wanting to read the book again and again. This is an excellent introduction to Orthodoxy both for those on the inside and the outside, but more importantly it is a beautiful expression of the faith, and of the personal faith of a very important figure in American Orthodoxy today. It was a joy to read this book, and I recommend it to anyone, no matter what their background or what they believe.
