Out and about at the Apple Orchard

Her enthusiasm for the topic is obvious, and will be passed on to her readers. Parents, teachers, librarians, and kids will love this - and learn from it as well!

We have an apple orchard in Indiana, and a librarian friend who has the fun job of reading and categorizing new books. She came across this one and said, "This is one of the best books I've seen for young readers that best fits the orchard. It even mentions the bees, limiting the use of chemicals, picking them by hand, and has an illustration of the apples being separated on a conveyer belt, it mentions cold storage, and has a big red barn for the store!
