Our Place in Space

My 7 year old son loves science! He would beg to hear another chapter. Now, we are going through this book a second time. I do not love science, but the information in this book is easy to understand, and very informative. I also appreciate the way the author weaves scripture into the theme of the day.

This is a book just likes it companion, Glow-in-the-Dark fish. It's a wonderful book and wonderful reading for children and adults. My son loves it and we talk about what we've read as we read each chapter daily. Has activities for each chapter and a digging deaper section. Great book!

Sixty short chapters make up the book Our Place in Space. Each chapter describes something from the world of science that relates to a theme about your life and God. A Bible verse and a thought to remember are provided for each chapter. Vocabulary words which may stretch your information are placed in bold type. There is an activity with each reading. To encourage further study there is a challenge to Dig Deeper. Scientifically accurate this book is especially valuable because it helps the student see God operating through science. Designed for six to 6 to 12 year olds, the material is also interesting for older people.
