They'd both known all along it was strictly a summer romance.......[only their hearts disagreed]Now Mark had unexpectedly returned home and seemed determined to recapture the love they'd shared. [against all odds] Honor knew she owed him the truth, but would Mark's desire for her be enough once he discovered the secret she'd kept for eight long years? ************Ah, good, another woman who remained true to her love. But could Mark get past his feelings of rejection and betrayal. Honor betrays her love for Mark in doing whatever was necessary to insure his safety. He unknownly brought danger to their little country side. This book is recommended for an intrigueing read. Not heavy to read.

Normally I don't read Silhouette or Harlequin, but since Meagan McKinney is one of my favorite authors, I couldn't resist.Eight years earlier Honor fell in love with her next door neighbor Mark. After one wonderful summer together, Mark's parents suddenly were killed and he had to leave to run his "multi-billion" dollar company (what do you expect??). After Mark left Honor realized she was pregnant. Unable to get word to Mark that he was about to become a father, Honor gave birth to a daughter, Lockey. Now eight years later Mark is back. He'd wants Honor back, but can Honor trust him with her secret?Overall, this was a pretty good book. I read it in one day, about an hour and a half to two hours. I love most of Ms. McKinney's books, mostly her older books.
