Modern day West Coast Cowboy cop

The author knows how to entertain. This is a very good series even if, like many intelligent people, you don't trust cops at all. It's Escapist Fiction. You know, suspend your disbelief and enjoy the narrative flow. Unlike the absurdist conspiracy conjectures ("theories" require actual evidence to be called "theories") haunting the brains and mouths of too many paranoids, it is possible there is a good cop like Buddy Steele. Relax and Enjoy!
