One Kiss From You: Switching Places #2 (Switching Places Series, 2)

"O MY GOD"! is all I can say. This is by far one of the best books I have ever read.I'd give this book a ten star rating if the star ratings went up that high, but since it only goes to five thats what it gets, but it deserves more. This was my first Christina Dodd book and it wont be my last! I didn't realize what I was missing by not reading any Christina Dodd books. Christina Dodd is by far one of my favorite authors now.If you have not read this book or never read anything by Christina Dodd before do yourself a favor and pick up this book and read it you wont be disappointed.

This was a wonderful book. I loved every single line. Eleanor is a quiet, shy spinster that looks almost exactly like Madeline who is the heroine from the first book. Eleanor is Madeline's traveling companion. Their looks are almost all they have in common however. At least at first. Eleanor meets Remington Knight, the man that won Madeline in a card game from her father. From their first meeting she is fascinated by him and he by her. She soon comes into her own as she must emulate her more bold cousin. Her mantra throughout the book is "what would Madeline do?" Until at last she can stand on her own and do exactly like she wants. The drunken scene I found particulary hilarious, with Eleanor telling about one of the duo's more interesting adventures. Remington's reactions are sweet and funny and as it leads to a very steamy love scene, I liked it alot. There is a villian(there always is in the best stories)but this one doesn't show up too often. But,Ms. Dodd does good romance.. and good action as well. I love all her stories, even the ones that aren't from the Governess Bride Series. (hint, hint) She is also a very nice lady, that cares about her fans and it shows as she gives readers exactly what they want.. MORE!!!

I dare say I enjoyed this book even more than its predecessor, SCANDALOUS AGAIN. And that's saying something, as I LOVED that book. Eleanor and Remington play off of each other beautifully, and boy, do they make the sparks fly! As far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong with a book by Christina Dodd, and this one ranks right up there with her best.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It made me laugh out loud many times. To see Eleanor blossom into such a strong and sensuous women was enjoyable. But to see how she beats Remington at his own game, was the best part. He never had a chance!! The supporting characters were pretty funny also. Buy it now!! You won't be able to put it down.

In SCANDALOUS AGAIN, the duchess and her companion switch places, and the duchess finds romance. In ONE KISS FROM YOU, we read her companion's story. Eleanor is "born timid", she's afraid of scenes and is easy to bully. So when she goes to London to meet the duchess's fiance, Remington Knight, and she pretends to be the duchess, she knows she's out of her league. But she falls in love with the dark, driven Remington, not realizing he's out for revenge on the duchess and her family. Eleanor grows into a strong character who seizes what she wants and vanquishes the bad guys. Great book! Buy it now!
