One in Thine Hand

I have had this book for years. I have read it over and over again. The story has really helped me understand more about the love of country and the history and sacrifice that goes with it. It also helped me understand a little more about Jerusalem and what the people have gone through. I just recently bought a new copy when the old one finally gave up the ghost. :)

This is now one of my favorite books. I love how Lund makes you feel like you are in Israel. I would love to someday visit Jeruselem and all the surrounding sites. Since I can't for now I'm so glad Lund was able to make it more real for me. The story is a very heartwarming story and also is filled with excitement, drama and action. The characters are strong moral people and the story leaves you feeling like a better person for having read it. I would suggest it to anyone without reservations. Excellent book!

This book teaches a lot not only about history and the 7 days war but also about comming closer to the Savior and what he can mean to each of us.

Gerald Lund has produced a book that looks into three distinct religions, Judaism, Islam and Mormonism and surprisingly, brings them all together in a way that will do nothing but help one procure love for their fellow men. Through his friendship with Ali, the friendly and proud Arab to his love-hate realtionship with Miriam, the shopkeeper's spitfire daughter, Brad finds a lot more than expected and learns lessons about life and religion that change his life...and will change yours as well.
