One Blood for Kids: What the Bible Says about Race

This is a wonderful book for kids and adults. This book does a wonderful job explaining that we are one race-the human race. I think 6 and up is appropriate but there are some advanced thoughts that they may not completely grasp. These include the genetic portions of where the different skin colors come from, such as alleles and melanin. I read it with a 3,6 and 9 year old and they were all able to grasp the truths, obviously the 9 year old understood the most. This book goes into detail about more than race, he discusses evolution and why it is false. He talks about the flood and fossil formation and why the earth is a young earth. And just a FYI he does discuss marriage in the beginning and in a very brief one or two sentence does discuss why biblically its between a man and woman only. He spends time discussing creation and the pictures/illustrations are beautiful. This is just a brief overview I found the amount of biblical truths and referencing of scripture to be outstanding and would highly recommend adding this book to read with your family.

This book does a really great job at explaining that there is only one race. I really appreciated the gospel being displayed throughout the book. There are some history and science excerpts throughout the book that made it more interesting. It also helped explain how we have gotten some of the incorrect ideas/thinking we experience today. Would recommend this book for ages 6 and up and it still may need to be broken up for them to fully grasp.
