"On the 7th Day of Christmas.......Santa Finds His Way to Your House!"
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 14 years ago
It's Christmas Eve in a wordless book, and as Isabella's Dad kisses her goodnight, an unbelievable adventure begins. First, one teeny tiny angel checks the note in the little girl's stocking, then flies off to the family living room to magically light the artificial candles. After looking around, the angel finds a key and opens the front door and millions of teeny tiny angels fly into the house and carry off the candles from the Christmas tree. They make a path outside the house and down the road, while Santa and his sleigh fly overhead. It's a wonder of lights to see.....all the dots forming a path. Santa pulls his sleigh to a stop and the teeny tiny angels greet him with the little girls' note. Santa reaches into his sleigh and pulls out several wrapped gifts while one of the teeny tiny angels checks off the items on the little girl's list. Santa places these gifts in a sack, as all the little angels fly into Isabella's house and light the way to her room. Santa puts the gifts in the little girl's stocking and hides nearby with the millions of angels watching. After the little girl awakens and begins to sleep walk, Santa tucks her back into bed, waves good bye and the little angel who started the adventure puts the key back where she found it.......all the angels are now gone. Isabella finds all the gifts Santa has left for her.......a dollhouse, a flute, a jack in the box, and a stuffed puppy. Walking down the stairs, the little girl looks outside and sees that it's a beautiful snowy day, and in the tree, outside the front door, a teeny tiny angel makes her way back into the teeny tiny doorway of her "tree house". Can you imagine all of this happening on Christmas Eve!
Every family should have a copy of this book in their house

This book is phenominal. Until you see the illustrations you can not imagine this book. The store is told with illustrations, that are so detailed, that the story is told by the youngest reader in the same detail. It is a book that can be given to a young child, to read the story of Santa, and can be re-read over and over and be just as fresh each time it is told. I have purchased one for every niece, nephew and God Child and will continue to do so.
Gentle story of how Santa's gifs are available to all

This is an inspiring allegory which moves well beyond the agebounds of4-8 years old listed in the ad. Our 3 year old loved it. Because it is only pictures, Dad supplied the narrative, with Larisa adding details to the story. We ordered a second copy of this book to send to a 6 year old girl we sponsor at an orphanage in Korea. The message of hope and inclusiveness says that Santa thinks of everyone and has lots of help (in the form of little fairies) in overcoming obstacles to delivery. Beautifully expressive illustrations. A great gift book for the child in all of us!
