Eleven rhymes with one illustration each, from Jack and Jill to Humpty Dumpty. The text is what it has been for ages - recognizable and memorable, which is why it endures. The illustrations are more quaint than fantastic, but they suit this edition of the rhymes very well. I was a little surprised to see the image of the cut-off tails of the Three Blind Mice, a graphic that was a little tacky to me.
