Ken Brown's bizarre humor comes through in this book, which reproduces postcards he created from 1979 to 1985 (one per page, illustrated in a retro pen and ink style reminiscent of 1950s newspaper advertisements). I have enjoyed this book since it appeared and have regretfully never found more of Mr. Brown bizarre creations. Many people are selling this book for one red American cent and you know what? Risk that cent. There's something here for everyone (at least, everyone who appreciates surrealistic commentary on modern life). My favorite is "Bernie and Bob Enter the Torrid Zone."
