Learn about numbers, matching pairs, sounds, shapes, and colors by peeking under the flaps in this great big ark book. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is by far our daughter's (20 months old) favorite book. While others she enjoys for a week or two and then moves on to something else, "Noah" is an ongoing favorite. Does a fantastic job of teaching shapes, colors, animals, animal sounds, etc. And also has an actual story line to read when she wants it read to her. Highly recommend!
My kids can't get enough of this book!

Noah's Big Boat is another in the Lift-the-Flap Bible Book series. Written by Allia Zobel-Nolan and illustrated by Steve Cox, this book imitates many popular toddler books, but offers a solid Bible base. It tells the story of Noah and the ark through simple rhyming text. The illustrations are bright and colorful. The true draw of this volume is the encouraged educational searches through interactive flaps, more than 45 throughout the book. Each two page spread, after telling a portion of the story, invites children to find certain things behind the hidden flaps. Children learn counting (1-10), matching (male and female animals), shapes (triangle, square, circle, rectangle, diamond, oval, star and crescent), animal sounds (11 different ones) and colors (purple, orange, blue, green, red and yellow). What I Like: Everything! My kids love this book and want to read it over and over again. The interactive nature of the book keeps busy toddlers and preschoolers interested while sneaking in basic preschool lessons. What I Dislike: Nothing. Age Appeal: The book says 3 and above, but I think children as young as 18 months would enjoy this book. Overall Rating: Excellent. Tanya -- Christian Children's Book Review
Great illustrations, with a lot to hold your child's attention

My 17-month-old daughter plays with this book daily. Each spread has a different theme -- numbers, matching pairs, shapes, sounds, and colors -- so there is a lot within this short book to hold and keep your child's attention. The animals are beautifully and playfully illustrated. It's a pure pleasure to read with my daughter.
