Pass the spuds, please.

My life was a dream. I learned to cook Italian and French. I installed a Viking range in my kitchen. My world was all garlic mashed potatoes, saffron risotto, ossobuco and really rich desserts. I was gaining weight faster than the 90s NASDAQ. All this came crashing to a halt when a cardiologist who shares clinic space with me observed that I might need to consider going on a diet. I was getting ready to tell him where to stick his diet when he whipped out script pad and scribbled a three rule diet. Eat breakfast, no starch(white stuff) with dinner and exercize 30 minutes a day. He told me to tape the script to the door of my refrigerator. I shoved it in my pocket, planning to toss it out. My wife found it and wanted to send Dr. Gavin flowers or money. I knew I was in trouble. That was a year ago. I'm 20 pounds lighter. My pants fall off. Soon,I'll have to run around in the shower to get wet My wife bought three copies of NO WHITE AT NIGHT. Dr.Gavin comments on my loss of girth in the clinic where I used to enjoy doughnuts. If I was a woman I could nail him for sexual harassment. I miss my spuds and risotto and pasta and ice cream and bread and cookies and doughnuts. I am one of millions who have tried every diet out there with no lasting success. I found Dr. Gavin's program to be easy to read, follow and stick with. I don't even like to call it a diet, because it is so much easier than traditional diets. I love that I can eat things I like, have more energy than I have in years, and not feel like I am starving. It is definately a life change for me, and will be for everyone who reads it. I have lost 40lbs, and plan to loose more, and I know that I can do it with out bieng deprived!! Vowing never to buy another "diet" book, I was very skeptical when I first heard about this book. But I love this program! In the first place, Dr. Gavin is not, obviously, out to make a fortune by writing another fad diet book. He is very credible, busy, and successful as a cardiologist. This is the first "diet" book I have ever read from cover to cover. It is short and easy to understand. Most of all, IT MAKES SENSE!! The program is simple and easy follow. There are no cravings, nor does one get hungry. It doesn't require buying a lot of new groceries or making drastic changes in lifestyle. It is unquestionably healthy. I think that I've found "the answer" to my weight and cholesterol problems at last! For the first time in years, I am excited about this program. In less than one week, I've dropped five pounds. My energy has increased and I feel great! Thanks, Dr. Gavin!

ANYONE can do this plan!

This is the first diet book that just lays it all out in a very simple to understand format...it's easy, it's inexpensive (very inexpensive) and you lose weight! It's the first plan I have followed and actually not felt compelled to reach for the snicker's bar at 3pm....Anyone can follow this plan...it is well worth the purchase if you are 5-255 pounds overweight...you can do this even if you are most busy as I am....
