Mouse is sure she can put together Rat's construction kit - no problem. But as she, and her friends, soon discover, it's not as simple as it seems. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The heroine, Mouse, receives a Construction Kit with dozens of loose parts, bolts, nuts, pieces. Confidently sets forth to assemble. Later gets help from other animals, all female. Great book to inspire engineering in girls. Lots of text per page, so probably best over age 4. Book includes a kit to assemble your own airplane. Great messages about persistence, confidence, but also taking the time to read the directions!
One of our favorite books

No Problem is one of our family's favorite books. We've read it a hundred times. The story is so much fun and the characters are cute and endearing. The illustrations are EXACTLY PERFECT for the story--couldn't be better. The heroine, Mouse, receives a Construction Kit to put together with dozens of loose parts, bolts, nuts, pieces. Plunging in without first reading the instructions, she builds a sort of motorized tricycle, which does not ride well at all. Along the way her friends Badger, Otter and Shrew build and rebuild the parts into other types of vehicles, getting it wrong, wrong and then finally RIGHT! My elder son, who is forever playing with blocks, Legos, K'nex, Zoob, MegaBloks, all manner of trucks and vehicles, is fascinated with the way things work, how things come apart and how things go together. He is delighted to know you can take a huge pile of loose parts and create a working airplane! Reading this story, we can see his junior-mechanical engineer imagination spinning. As an adult reading this story, I love the way Eileen Browne crafted each character with her own personality. I also like the underlying lesson that it's good to take time to read the instructions. And the drawings by David Perkins are a delight to look at--he created some preposterous looking contraptions that are funny and fascinating. So much to look at. Yes, we love this book.

This children's book is fabulous! The illustrations are cute & kid friendly, but very ellaborate. The story is one that you won't mind reading over and over. And it teaches a moral as well. Check it out!
