No Previous Experience: A Memoir of Love and Change

Cameron has written a wonderful book--it explains so clearly how difficult and surreal and wonderful it can be to fall into an experience which changes how you see yourself, how the world sees you and, ultimately, who you are. This book is very hard to put down--cleverly written, she manages to take you to several different locations with many different characters without ever confusing you as to what is happening. Her love story is full of sweet suspense and longing and makes you yearn to rush ahead and see the ending. This book is not only a delcious read on its own, but a fantastic addition to the world of real-life coming-out stories. It's so important for people to realize that some find their sexuality late in life...and that sexuality can be fluid. Cameron gives us a fine-pointed glimpse into that world and aids our understanding of the variety of experiences one can have exploring their sexuality.
