Great foundation for people getting into Prose Poetry

A fine collection, this offers some examples of the genre. Some call it "poetry's cop-out," it allows the clever writer an easily understandable perhaps first attempt at image rich free verse. You'll surprise yourself if you, after reading some of these great poems and poets, don't be suprised if you pick up your pen/pencil/laptop, dabble with a few prose poems and see that, "Hey, some of this is really pretty good."
