An explosive new series inspired by the heroic aviation force. They left no man behind at Mogadishu. They chased the Taliban out of Afghanistan. Now the Black Hawk pilots of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment must locate and destroy weapons of mass destruction smuggled into Lebanon. And failure is not an option.
Loved this book - if only the author wouldn't have killed off quite so many of the good guys! They die right and left in this book and, in this sense, I had to table my disbelief that the forces would've continued the chase with such heavy losses, but hey - it's still an entertaining, quick read loaded with fast-paced action and witty dialogue. The book is 277 pages - so don't expect an extended plot ala Clancy or Dale Brown - but if you like technothrillers and think you'd like to go along for the ride with a group of crazy, brave helicopter crews and special forces troops, you'll enjoy this book. I'm headed for the next book in the series, hoping that the author will mercifully let a few more friendly troops live to fight another day!

It's well-written and a ton of fun. Believable and timely. I can't wait for the sequel! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I thought it could have been longer, with a bit more development. Still, a great book. Keep it up, Hawke!
