Great book

This book caused my four sleepless nights... I started reading this book at bedtime and couldn't put it down. Wonderfull story.

I absolutely loved this book!!!

I brought this book during the summer and absolutely loved it !!! The relationship between Rhea and Marcus was intense. The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars was because Marcus attempted to leave her after they had sex for the first time.

Tour guide finds hope for love amid disaster.

Rhea de Silva, independent tour guide considers herself capable of handling any and all emergencies. She was able to live up to this reputation until the day her boss reassigned her to a different group of tourists than she had previously studied about. From the moment she received the unexpected assignment, everything that could go wrong seemed to go wrong. It was only when Marcus, one of her tourists, pushed his plate away that she learned he was a vegetarian. Night Heat is a beautiful, sensitive, well-written story. Rhea becomes friends with Marcus and his daughter, and all three subsequently feel . However, Jodell disappears, and Rhea and Marcus must separate. The author of this first novel shows great talent and promise.

Electric romance and a whirlwind adventure in Trinidad!

I took this book on a two day vacation and hardly put it down long enough to enjoy the lake. Sparks start flying as soon as tour group leader, Rhea De Silva, meets her client, Marcus Lucien. The author, Simona Taylor, creates a handsome, decent, wonderful character in Marcus, and if things didn't work out soon between him and Rhea I was moving in. In addition to the romantic tension, Rhea's group is put in serious jeopardy, especially Marcus' young daughter, whom Rhea adores. Taylor satisfies on several levels with her vivid descriptions of exotic Trinidad and the confliction Rhea feels over the desire to conserve the island's environment without negatively impacting tourism. Besides being engrossingly entertained, I came away feeling like I had learned something and gained a new familiarity with a place I knew nothing about. This book is a well-written page turner that I would recommend to anyone.
