Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book

Cookbook is binder style and cover came totally off. There were numerous pages that had to be peeled apart to be read. If shipping is the problem, this binder styled book should not have been shipped in a lightweight plastic bag.

The cookbook is okay. When I received this cookbook, it was filthy, with dust balls and the cover actually had dried food, (I hope), and grimy dirt on it. I cleaned off the cover simply by damping a cloth and using dish soap and now I no longer feel I have to use disinfectant after touching the book, a simple process the seller should have used! The condition of the book is like brand new NOW.

Absolutely fantastic cookbook! The condition is perfect. This cookbook is for everyone from novice to culinary maven. I highly recommend❣️

i was very disappointed in the condition of this book. It was broken from the cover. So the inside of the book has nothing to hold on to. This was the fist time I ordered a book and was disappointed.

2 books ordered BETTER HOMES and GARDEN COOK BOOK ordered hardback received a paper back NOT EVEN CLOSE to the book we wanted being a 75 yr old man i can hardly read and hold open to use. I GIVE THIS 1 STAR RACHAEL RAY 30 MINUTE MEALS softcover this book was really what I expected for a 20+ year old book its in excellent condition I give this 5 STARS

Almost half of the book is missing. If the listing would have said that I wouldn’t have bought it. This was supposed to be a gift and now it’s just trash.

I have been using my grandmother's copy since before I was twelve. She's gone now and that book has fallen apart at the seams. I'm sure there are better cookbooks, but none that are so all encompassing. This would be a good book to start teaching your older kids, young teens, or yourself about cooking. The recipes are approachable and easy to follow, but sometimes it doesn't mention salt in the ingredient list and does call for it in the directions, so read the whole recipe before you start. Always have a bit of salt on hand just in case.

This is the best cookbook ever written. I had one when I was first married, and have given it as a gift to others when they are married!! There is nothing fancy; just good, practical recipes and menus for family.

I was very anxious to get this long lost cookbook. BUT when I looked thru it the pages from Rice & Pasta through the index pages were missing. The first part was nice but I was very disappointed with the missing pages. So sad.

If you were to have only one cook book, this would be a good choice for that book. Detailed recipes, useful illustrations, tips, conversion charts, you name it... this book has got it. This is as useful to those who have been cooking for a while, as it is for those just beginning. The recipes range from very simple and easy to complex. It just depends upon what you are in the mood for.

I lived my life with this cookbook and my daughter wanted a copy.

Bought to replace my paperback falling apart. Lots of basic recipes

I saw my sister's copy of Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book, known as the "Pink Plaid" and after watching her use the book a lot, I wanted one. I just used it this morning for a quiche recipe. The book has flags for different types of recipes, Easy, Low Fat, Fast, etc. It's up to date, e.g., talks about using deli rotisserie chickens and other current short cuts. Definitely easy to use; lots of pictures; lie flat ring-binder. This cookbook is good for beginner cooks as well as old-hands like me. I like reading cook books, and I definitely enjoy reading this one.

I have a collection of the Better Homes Cook Books and love them all. This is special because it has recipes from different "famous" people, Paula Deen to name one and we all love Paula. I have ordered one for my daughters and my sisters for Christmas. In addition to all the delicious recipes, you are also donating to a cause that has or will touch most all our lives at one time or another. Buy it, you will not regret it.

I just got this book and it's worth the money. I have tried several recipes and they were all amazing ! I will recommend it without hesitation. I would also recommend Simple and Simply Delicious by Sylvie Rocher
