I have read so many different genres, that I had to give credit to the one book that made me laugh out loud most often; it got so bad that I eventually had to to get off the bus!This is one of the funniest books that I have ever read. Even if it is over-the-top, it's on purpose and I am always eager to pass my copy over to others. It brings me so much pleasure sometimes to retell Modine Gunch's account of washing her cat in the crawfish broiler; I am usually hysterical by the time in my story when Modine's next door neighbour has called the police in fear that Modine is boiling her cat.If you can find a copy of this book, buy it, and sit down with it in private. You will not regret an hour or two with Modine Gunch!
