Fantastic!

This is the book I started my collection with. I am more than happy that this was my first selection because its such a great book. The love scenes are real and not overdone, the charecters are very real and nuturing to the reader, plus there are no slow paced moments in this novel. The problems they arrive at in this book are realistic. The views and opinions from the charecters and their parents are realistic as well, and quite common. From this book you get a wonderful understanding of what its like to be in their shoes. I would recommend this book. And this book reflects my own situation, so I do appreciate this book. Its great! :)

Very well written.

This is only my 2nd interracial romance novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have skimmed others which have just been too crass in their love scenes but Ms. Cameron handled them with grace and style. I am very pleased with this novel because I know this is more true as to how interracial relationships happen and it is nice to see very well educated characters who tackle the subject. I would have liked to have seen a bit more on the part of Tyler as to how he dealt with instances of prejudice but the situations where he did were well written. It is so refreshing to have novels where the African American woman is being pursued by men of other races as opposed to only being desired by African American men. It is high time that others see that we are worth the effort just as much as our Caucasian sisters are and hopefully novels like this will open the door for more relationships between African American women and racially diverse men.

Great Reading!

I heard from a few friends who have read this book. They really thought it was good. I am not a big fan of romance novels, but this was so good. It's hard to put down, and leaves you looking forward to the next chapter.I think I like romance novels now. Can't wait for the next one!

Without Color

Excellent job!!! The charactors are believable and the story, I am sure is of many who are either in interracial relationships or are new to the interracial scene. A wonderfuly book the sex scenes were not of the so called erotica explicit but tastefully done. Desiree and Tyler overcame what needed to be overcome in the name of love. Its true love conquers all. Michele Cameron again job well done can't wait for more of your writting in this genere.

All Bases Covered!!!

Ms. Cameron does a nice job in this inter racial romance - Tyler and Desiree meet at work and the sparks fly. Tyler is centered lawyer who grew up recognizing dysfunctions in relationships that he witnessed from his own parents. Desiree is a professional woman who has dreams of expanding her education (becoming an attorney) - and she dumps her longtime boyfirend/fiancee after she realizes that he does not feed her heart. This couple tackles all of the stigmas and taboo's of white/black dating as well as extended families (Tyler's divorced with two kids)Great job - this story promotes happiness is where you find it!!! Tyler is not only financially secure, but he is handsome, has good values , knows how to treat a woman and he is very sensual! A keeper no matter what race!:)
