She earned a Bachelor's degree from Vassar College, and after raising her children, earned her Master's degree and her Doctorate in humanities, specializing in creative arts and connumications. She has taught English and writing to university students and adults (lucky them!), has written for magazines, and has been a columnist for Beach and Bay Presss Newspaper Group in San Diego. She now resides in Virginia with her husband, two dogs, and two horses. Nature's Wisdom is her fourth book.
