Really beautiful!

A beautiful book for adults as well as young people. The facsimiles are amazingly well done and very interesting. Last but not least, the price is very reasonnable.

trumps the store bought version

This seller sold the item at a reasonable price instead of the absurd price bookstores were trying to get away with.

Remarkable Exploration Immersion Experience

We are all of us explorers. Every day we explore our world and find new wonders. The recent National Geographic Exploration Experience brings back for every reader the joy of exploration and discovery which we once knew as children. The written sections on exploration epochs and on individual explorers are superb, and supplemented in the most delightful way by beautifully printed facsimiles of original letters, manifests, waybills, passports, maps and testimonies of explorers themselves, from Christopher Columbus to the modern polar heroes. For the remarkable price of little over $30, the reader will be transported through time into the caravans, shoes and sledges of famous explorers -- I can think of no higher recommendation for any book than that it will be returned to again and again, with increasing delight upon each perusal. An absolutely marvelous read, and a bargain to boot!
