The words are so vibrant, they bring the character's voices to life. The tone of the book is very uplifting, full of self love and pride. It has poems in it written for & dedicated to a spectrum of people from Gary Payton - Seattle Sonics, to Wilma Mankiller - First woman Chief of the Cherokee Nation. It's a lesson about where we've been and where we're going. I walk away feeling like I CAN and loving myself all the more.
