It actually comes with a **WARNING** on the back: "Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts." A young boy plays with his puppy, in any weather and all day - right up to bedtime. No author or illustrator is listed. My Puppy Playtime is part of a series, Animal Pal Books; this original set of four books includes My Baby Elephant Foam Board Book (Animal Pal Books), My Pretty Kitten Foam Board Book (Animal Pal Books)and My Goldfish Wish Foam Board Book. The pages are thick cardboard which allows them to stand up to a lot of rough handling. The covers are half as thick and covered with a layer of foam and cut in the shape, basically, of the puppy on the cover. Illustrations are super bright and colorful, covering every inch of every page. Fairly small, this is a good book to tuck into a bag to take along outside the house. - AnnaLovesBooks
