Our son (he is 3 1/2) loves this book. The book shows and explains five differant types of hammers. He asks which ones we have and when the book repeats the "sound" of the hammers hammering he "reads" along! If your child, boy or girl, likes to build with legos, etc., and is interested in construction toys this book would be a great buy!P.S. My brother who works at home depot thinks its a great book too!
