My first kitten

This is a simple, straight forward tale of a young girl and her first kitten. It is sweet and short. Each page is illustrated with realistic black and white drawings that keep it moving for that early reader. My daughter read it during the summer between 1st and 2nd grade. It was perfect! She enjoyed the story enough to want to keep going while stretching her reading ability nicely. My only real recommendation is get it for a girl. It is too cute and fluffy for a boy.
