Wonderful book that keeps my child's attention

I bought this book in 1994 for my first child and I've read to each child. The pictures are wonderful, the book really keeps their attention on each page. Each page has the numbers 1 through 20 along the top edge of the page, which is a great reinforcer. If you can only afford one counting book, this one should be it. (Each child's favorite activity in this book, outside of reading the story, was finding where the ladybug was hiding on each page.)
