I bought this book for a friend who was recently diagnosed with MS. At that point, neurologists and specialized MS-nurses are constantly all over you. This irritates my friend especially when her questions are not answered quickly and fully. That is where the book comes in. My friend says the book is better than her neurologist and the MS-nurse put together.

But after reaing this one, I returned the other two books and it made them redundant.If you need to buy just one book (even if you have the money to buy 10 books on MS), this is the ONLY book you will ever need.

I have had M.S. for about two years. I waslooking for a book to answer specific questions I had. This book did a great job. The format of the book is arranged in the question and answer style. You can look up a question in the index, go to the page identified and get the information without reading the entire book. This is a great advantage in gaining information on specific problems associated with a very complicated disease.
