Moving from Fear to Freedom: A Woman's Guide to Peace in Every Situation

Fear was not part of God's original agenda for his creation. It slithered onto the scene when Adam and Eve sinned, causing a tear in their relationship with God. And even though fear touches every life and can still debilitate people today, the news isn't all bad. Popular speaker and author Grace Fox demonstrates how believers can face their fear and actually let it be a catalyst for change.

Readers will learn how to stop hiding from God...

Real answers for too-common fears

Read this book and you'll find yourself saying, "That's me," or "Maybe this is how I can minister to my hurting friend." Grace has her finger on the pulse of what women think and are often afraid to admit so that they could truly live in freedom. Grace is a diligent researcher, who conducted many personal interviews to get just the right stories to make her book real. The end-of-chapter questions, focus scriptures, and prayer bring reminder that no fear is beyond God's help. Get it for yourself and to use in a women's Bible study.

Leave Fear in the Dust

This is an awesome book! I was the type of woman who had some rather irrational fears (like, where will I go when the tornado hits...and I live in the mountains in California!). Instead, I've found a freeing kind of help after reading Grace Fox's book. Basically, I'm able to look the situation in the eye and understand that God is bigger than it is. I highly recommend this book.

Fear not, God is with you...

Moving From Fear to Freedom: A Woman's Guide to Peace in Every Situation by Grace Fox has helped me immeasurably. Her common sense answers to the different kinds of fears a woman faces had me thinking she'd been living inside my life. I seldom read non-fiction books, but anyone who finds themselves worried about life would do themselves and their family and friends a favor by reading Moving from Fear to Freedom. Well done, Grace!

There is nothing to fear, but fear itself

The author really identified my fears as a woman. She seems so wise and so real at the same time. I was moved to deal with some of my past experiences in order to not be so fearful of the future. I was reminded that God really does care about me. I especially liked her perspective on "the upside of fear" as an indicator that I have taken my focus of of God's love. She challenged me to reconsider if I can do something meaningful with my life, which has previously been characterized by fear and avoidance. This is a great book for those who pretend that constant worrying is normal. I truly have a new freedom after challenging my thinking with the perspective in this book.

Grace Fox has nailed it!

Grace Fox has nailed the fears that pierce a woman's heart and prevent her from experiencing the true joy and freedom that are her birthright as a child of the living God. For too long we women have allowed ourselves to walk in the shadow of fear, missing out on the sunlight that beckons us and is ours for the taking. Grce shows us how we can move from the shadow into the sunlight once and for all and, in turn, help others to do the same. Complete with provocative points to ponder, Scriptures to meditate on, and prayers to pray, "Moving from Fear to Freedom" is a must-read book for any woman who desires to live in the truth that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind."
