Mountainvision Lessons Beyond the Summit

As I read I found myself totally engrossed. It was captivating, full of suspense and adventure. In each wonderful chapter Jeff intertwined a lesson on leadership. The likes of Norman Vincent Peale (The Power of Positive Thinking), Zig Ziglar and Andrew Carnegie popped into mind. I've read self-help and motivational messages from them all. But Jeff Evans' words were uniquely different. They captured me. His messages were genuine. I knew many of the stories, but...WOW! There are millions of books in the world, but of the many hundreds or thousands of books I've read, this book is one of the very best... this book should be mandatory reading for every student, every teacher, every sports team, every business group, congregation, military unit, police department, and in short, every parent and every child.

What an enjoyable book! Jeff's mountain adventure stories are delivered as if they were being told over a campfire. The short, concise chapters keep you reading well beyond lights out. His personal recollections are very engaging and always come with a treat at the end of each story, an applicable lesson for all. This book not only entertains, but inspires. This book was riveting, and awe-inspiring. When I finally put this book down, I was speechless. The author delivers his core messages so artistically, and in a way that inspires you to improve the way you live your life. My view of humanity, the nature of the human spirit, and of the core values gained from taking chances and living life to its fullest are forever changed. I learned valuable life lessons with each chapter, that can apply to avid outdoor enthusiasts and urban adventure seekers alike.
