Based on a true story

This book brought a new light about the Nazi spy network California pre WWII. However, the book itself was just okay. The pace of the story seemed slow. The thing that really kept me reading was the fact that this tale is based on a true story. The story had great promise, but I don’t think the delivery was adequate. Veronica, daughter, was sufficiently written about throughout the story, but Vi, mother, was half forgotten. My goodness, she was a suffragist!
