This book provided a great intro to a country I never knew anything about, and continued to provide good information all the way through my trip. The first several sections have brief spiels on different aspects of Moroccan culture and life (e.g., traditional food, what to expect as a solo female traveler, arts and crafts). For improvement, I would suggest more detailed maps with more street names, especially of the medina. I ended up having to use another book as a supplement in the map area. All in all, however, the book is indispensable for any traveler.
