This is not a book for young children, grades 3-5!!

Grades 9+ would be more like it. Adults will enjoy the book as well. Wonderful B & W reservation photos by Paul Conklin. Even though this book is 20+ years old, the subject is as old as the first broken treaties and as modern as today's headlines - government (or big business) wants something found on the reservation and the fight not to have to give it up. The Northern Cheyenne found some answers.
