Morning Song

This was a truly great book. Herring keeps you enthralled from the first page. Carole's struggle to make the decision that is right for her and not for everyone else's approval is commendable. Just as she thinks her life is the way it should be, she falls for a man that could possible send her back into the life she had just escaped. It's a wonderful book if you can get a copy. My copy is almost as old as I am and was passed down to me (signed by the lovely Mrs. Herring herself) by my mother. Which is proof that the story is timeless.
