As a parent raising an adopted child with AIDS this book really hits home. Amazingly, even though it was written 10 years ago all the feelings are the same. Nothing has really changed (unfortunately) and this book illustrates some great tips about how to emotionally "handle" the ups and downs of dealing with the politics, the birth-parents, the community and {most importantly} the children who are LIVING with AIDS and "aren't dead until they are". I LOVED this book! I am hoping to buy several copies.
