There are very few travel guides which focus solely on Montreal. Strangely, neither Rough Guide nor Lonely Planet have an offering for this city. Thankfully Ulysses, which is based in Montreal, has put together a very handy paperback. It contains helpful practical information and, if you love walking, then this book is for you. Each walking tour is rated and has historical facts aplenty... I was also able to find a great bbq joint off-the-beaten-path thanks to their food listings! Nice job!
