Return to Ravenloft!

This book to me encapsulates what Ravenloft should be, a world of suspense, horror, and thrills. This books is as good as Vampires in the Mists, I Strahd, or When the Black Rose Blooms. The book starts out with a plot of revenge for a slain loved one(trying not to spoil book). Before the plot can hatch, the mists take an entire group of people into the Realm of Dread. Upon their exiting the train car(takes place in late 1800's) they are swarmed by zombies. They find shelter in an Inn, where everyone is suspicious of them. And this is just the first couple of chapters in this book. If you enjoyed any of the books I mentioned before, you will love this book.

Mithras Court Is A Home Run

Page hits a home run with his second novel, Mithras Court. Here is a novel that grasps you from the first page and doesn't let you go. It's not the genre I typically read, but I could not put this book down. I never knew what would happen next and couldn't wait to find out. Besides keeping the reader riveted, Page masterfully and creatively weaves into his story profound questions of spirituality, the afterlife, war, and human relationships. This and his first novel, Surviving Frank (a werewolf detective in Boston), are movies waiting to be made. Congratulations to David A. Page.

An excellent read -

I recently read 'Mithras Court' and must say that I truly enjoyed it cover to cover. The book was a great length and the story paced well. I have noticed that many times with Wizards of the Coast (TSR, D & D, etc.)books you get to a point where there are 30 pages left and you just know that the ending will be rushed and, thus, downgrade the rest of the work. Not so here. David A. Page has written an excellent tale with great characters and I cannot wait to read his next work!
