I ordered the three books in the Sally Wentworth "Ties of Passion" trilogy and I received the second two and this book instead of the first book in the series. So I guess you could say "Mistaken Wedding" came to me by mistake. However, I'm glad it did, because I enjoyed it immensely. The only problem was that I'd enjoyed it three years ago when I was on vacation in Majorica and I was looking forward to something I'd never read before. That said, I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the tale as much today as I did back then. Carina Riverio goes to Portugal looking for her sister, because her mother is afraid that little sis is going to make the same mistake Carina made and marry a foreigner. Once in the country there is only one person Carina can turn to for help and that's her husband Luis, you see though she's been away all these years, she'd never filed for divorce. Neither, apparently had he. When she comes face to face with Luis, it's obvious there is still some kind of spark between them, but Carina wants to deny it. However before she can walk out of Luis' office and his life, he blurts out that he knows where the missing little sister is and now Carina is forced to play Luis' game. But maybe it's for her own good. What can I say. I simply loved this book. It is one fine story with characters that really came to life for me. I can't recommend it highly enough. I am sure glad my online book dealer made that mistake.
