Miss Holly is Too Jolly is a great book to read because it's funny and fun to read. The book is about a Spanish teacher that loves Christmas. She will make boys kiss girls if they are next to each other in class. So the boys stay with the boys and the girls with the girl because they do not want to kiss each other. My daughter's 2nd grade teacher started her on this series. It is fun reading. Chapters are not long and the level of reading is perfect for 2nd grade. I plan on purchasing the whole series. My DD and I love to read the books together and chat about it.
